This didn't fit my larger pans but was fine on the smaller ones. It IS a good idea to use something (i used tongs) to lift it off when done to avoid burns from hot steam! I'm happy with the product.

It was everything I expected. I bought a similar one for three times the money for a friend and find this one just as good.
